I have come to this poem for second time. I love this poem very much. I appreciate the way of presentation. The life story of pencil is well executed. I feel the most impressive lines as " Taking a deep breath he concluded / " Each time you use me, I leave a mark / So learn to leave your own mark / In whatever you do” This poem is going to my poems list. Gorgeous one. Sure ten.

I really enjoyed this lovely poem. Made me think about my school days. A pencil maybe a simple object but it can accomplish great things. I will never look at a pencil the same way again!

Beautiful message delivered through the poem. Also a pencil can write in all positions which a pen cannot do. What a wonderful character pencil is!

Every word Mr. P uttered was as close as child's daily meal and how pertinent example she chose to teach few invaluable life lessons to most needed. Great thinking. Congratulations Valsa.

I cannot imagine you could find such a simple lovely thought. How a pencil can speak volumes in ever so meaningful words. This is something i need to share with my kids.
