Wonderful movement around the year. I also love the intense and characteristic wording for each season.

A beautiful poem written in a unique style. Interesting to read the various characteristics of seasons. Loved about autumn. 'Drizzling All through the day. Warns the lingering breeze, " Gear up, the worst is yet coming" The fall.'... is so nice. Thanks for sharing.10++++

I do not have any idea about this form of poetry. But your poem is extremely beautiful. Let me quote a stanza- 1. Spring Fragrance! The darkest spell Of the cold witch is over. Nature plays Holi; gulal spreads. Spring springs.

Normally, almost all forms of poetry in the English literature insists on a rhyme scheme, apart from the meter. In order to conform to the rhyme scheme, one should have extraordinary command on vocabulary. Should be a real wordsmith. Which, I am not. Cinquain is one form, which does not have the rhyme scheme. Just like the Japanese forms like haiku etc, it has just a scheme of number of syllables. It is 2-4-6-8-2. So, I found it very simple. Contd

Though it is your first attempt at this form of poetry from a collection of four Cinquains, yet it is so brilliant and fantastic. The events and festivals as per season are well executed. Holi; gulal in Spring, dried and withered flowers in Summer, lingering breeze in Autumn and Cold winds in Winter are touchingly portrayed. A fabulous work.10
