Silk Fan Comments

This poem is so evocative but does not explain its context. It's very tender and even delicate but contains an inner strength of meaning. It has a homecoming which should be cause for a party but immediately the honored guest has returned to the open road. This is a poem about the lasting MYSTERY OF THINGS.

Hi Cigeng, Lovely poem. When I read your beautiful poem, I just remember the heroin in one of the old Japanese movie in kimono always with a little silk fan. I had watched this movie as a kid, and dont remember more details.... But, I think, it has something to do with the Zen philosophy. Thank you for this great one...And, The Silk Fan Closed...
