Nice poem. I think allot of poets feel like you. Its difficult to be a critical observer and not think many of these things. I like the line, I sat behind a rainy window and feared that I'm just passing through. You convey in the next two lines your observation of pain and agony both in- and outside the window. Which one do you choose? They both sound appealing? ;) So you wait for an opportunity to take part when the scene changes to serene? Nicely written poem.
