Rating: 4.1

I heard children crying, I heard children weeping.
I heard their silent voices screaming of hunger and pain,
where no ears can lend and hear what they say.

The little boy crying did it for me Catrina. It is the poor innocent children that don't even have a start in life to stand them in good stead for their future. Your poem is straight from your heart and lets hope this poem somehow can help at least one child. It is so heart wrenching. 10 love Karin

cries and voices with agony, ask us to do something for them, you are with tender heart but it needs a huge social turnover, and subversion of present exploiting system

Something must be done to help others like this. The problem is so big. Maybe more should dedicate to other lives with NGOs. Working for the betterment of mankind will not make one rich, but it is a better life!

Catrina, I do agree, we must do something for those silent voices! We all must buy UNICEF'S greeting cards for the Chrismas and the New Year, as a small beginning! - Raj

The Poem is True and So Are The Sentiments Too... And Even, If We Can't Do Anything, We Still Need To Be Reminded, Every Now and Then, That We're Not There Yet... (Yet, Only God Will Do Away, With All Of The Problems Of The World) However, We Are Our Brother's Keeper... Good Write Catrina... Your Poet Soul is Shining Thru... MoonBee
