Silent Trauma Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Silent Trauma

Slowly sidestepping parts of life that live in a silent
trauma from way back when.

Somehow it always rears its head at the most inopportune
times, causing life to hesitate.

Wanting to get it out of a being, but it's been etched
within by a traumatic experience of long ago.
