Silent Shackles Poem by Munaza Gulzar

Silent Shackles

Rating: 5.0

In the depths of my soul, a secret burden I bear,
Hidden feelings, like a weight too heavy to share.
Unspoken words, locked away in my heart's vault,
Yearning to be released, to break free from this fault.

Each day, the weight grows, pressing down on my chest,
The burden of hidden feelings, a constant unrest.
Aching to reveal the truth, to let my emotions flow,
But fear and doubt hold me back, afraid of what may show.

Silent whispers echo, unheard by the world's ear,
Longing to be spoken, to be set free and clear.
But the burden remains, a heavy load to bear,
Hidden feelings, a secret I must silently wear.

Yet in the depths of solitude, I find solace and release,
Through pen and paper, my emotions find their peace.
In the realm of words, I can finally let them out,
Unburdening my soul, as my feelings scream and shout.
