I have been sitting for so long
In a deserted forest, all alone.
No houses appear within my sight,
Yet some souls dwell here, quiet and slight.
Those whom we often leave behind,
Forgotten in the corners of time,
Far away, beyond our reach,
Where rows of graves in silence speak.
I can still feel their presence near,
Remembering them with heart sincere.
They utter no words, they make no sound,
In stillness, they rest beneath the ground.
Silent they lie, withdrawn from the day,
While I have lingered here, long in stay.
