Silent Indifference Poem by Nidhi Agrawal

Silent Indifference

I have never known romance
No one's held my hand
No one's ever kissed me
under the light of stars.
No one ever brought me flowers
Or said, that there's beauty in my scars.
I'm no one's beloved
Never belonged to anyone.
Ordinary and invisible
to be passed by in silent indifference.
So I shed this body of mine
And set my soul free
In the hope of being finally
accepted by eternity.
