What's so great about love?
I've never understood
One minute, everything is fine
Dancing, singing, making fun memories
But the next,
Your screams
Your mad, over something she did
Your screams echo through the house
Her pleas for you to stop
Yet your so consumed with rage,
You can't hear her
Her cry's echo my memory
Then all of a sudden,
It silent
No laughs, no screams, no cry's
Silent
What happened to the fun days we used to have?
When did they leave?
All the playdates, family movie nights, or family dinners
All gone
Silent
Everything left, you made it leave,
Her, leave
Yet you sit there
In your chair
You can't remember ever screaming
But I do
Your screams were loud
However
They left everything silent

Excellent poem. So well expressed. Laughter, screams and then silence all part of life. Little more or little less we all are destined to get. The most difficult part of learning to face and enjoy the silence is the task remains unfinished till end. Very often mirage is its search.
