Silent move the meek docile lambs,
Behind the shepherd to be huddled inside.
Food and shelter is all they need,
And abide to be sheared with no trace of dissent.

Silence at times is a unseen crime to not speak out against the unspeakable acts of cruelty towards people and animals. Silence is a vendetta of looking the other way when wrong doings are plain to see. Awesome, outstanding write Valsa!

A heartrending depiction has been made about silence that can touches the heart of the readers. From the beginning it has much impact in humanity, Let me cite...Silent move the meek docile lambs, / Behind the shepherd to be huddled inside. / Food and shelter is all they need, /And abide to be sheared with no trace of dissent. A brilliant poem. This should be come to POD. Thanks for sharing.10

silence is painful and heartrending, when the deed known to be done is not done....

one of the more striking stanzas: “Woeful is the silence that befalls, On the man who watches and pass unmindful, An innocent, brutally hunted down, Bathed in blood and pleading to be saved” whether “man” or “beast” [sometimes ‘men’ are ‘beasts’! ], “silence” can forebode/hint at oppression or suppression, but you have given a few examples of when it is ‘golden’, or neutral. if I could be more silent at home, I would probably stay out of trouble (with the home-boss) more often! ! I may not understand the last stanza well, but the poem is nicely done. I’ll place this into my/our August showcase for PH poets on my PH site. thanks. bri :)

Your poem has inspired me to write a few lines. Nature is silent, even then she says, Her speeches are delivered in shining rays. Hot in fatigue of troublesome days, Followed by nights of milky ways. Nature is the poetess of lovely rhymes, Her songs, her music, living all times.
