Silence is such a lovely sweetheart most sought after by the poets, philosophers and other intellectuals and which remains away from the public glare. Succinctly portrayed. Thanks, Barry.

so beautiful Barry! ! ! ! Such a unique and original way to perceive Silence when silence sleeps exhausted in the middle of the night. Meister eckhart the great mystic of the Middle Ages said the nearest thing to God in this life is silence when we move from silence we truly hear the lovers breath.

Thank you. I am very glad you liked it. Silence is very important to me, perhaps to all poets. How else are we to hear our own thoughts?

Thanks. This is a poem I wrote many years ago and going through old work, I realized how much I liked it.

Beautiful. Silence has its own sounds that come alive in the dead of the night. A lovely thought.
