Silence And Solitude Poem by james watkin

Silence And Solitude

One within the other quavers
Imperceptively deep.
Tis God's own heart that no one hears!
When this great calm of trees one nears.

Sound of a strange compelling
Against the shore of soul
Which breaks. It unnerves as many
As distrust their own company.
