Signed: George Washington Poem by james watkin

Signed: George Washington

Contemplating Freedom
The mind expands;
Breadth it demands
Like a wall-less kingdom;
Like the airy and blue
Eagle of states.
Contemplating Freedom
What tis gestates?

This; to further its cause.
Justice-waving
For all men in
A new race of people!
Raised with new frontiers of
Knowledge pushed out
Under God its praise-won
Ideal's bold shout.
