Like you I have reached the gentler part of life, no stress, no desires for more. I walk slowly on my sidewalk taking in the passing scene; I sometimes rest there is no rush, if I look forward I can see my happy path meander on and on for miles. I hope yours does too. lovely poem, runs so rhythmically. side walks, away from limelight, walking into twilight. city sidewalks safer than chaotic traffic in rural areas. one hes to be thankful for small mercies. 10 Mamta
