Shravan Kumar, the noble character from the epic Ramayan stands for true devotion and highest sacrifice he made for his parents.He took the responsibility of his old and aging parents to take them on pilgrimage by carrying them on his shoulders.He was killed mistakenly by king Dasharath while taking water from river for his thirsty parents. This action of king Dasharath started a new chapter.He had to face the consequences that befell as a curse from Shravan Kumar[s parents who had died in grief by listening about the death of their son. Thanks for sharing the beautiful poem and the noble thoughts.
