Shortage Of Vowels

'Rape', now sanitized 'canola',
burns pele yellow in flower -
more than 'pale', less than 'yellow'.

A wit thought:
a slice of cake bigger than a wedge
can be a wodge.

This wit:
a slice smaller then a wedge is a wadge;
between a wedge and a wodge is a widge.

Almost a half can be a wydge.
There isn't a vowel
for a slice between a crumb and a wadge;

that size can be called an acute.
A slice more than a half, an obtuse,
will soon be called an abuse.

The cake looks most appetizing to me. I like a big slice of cake.
