Contrite heart may not lead to disappointment. However, we are in search of better life hence the dreamy life is short. Thoughtful read!

When they crawl out in the day light, .In the garden full of vegetables, .Their dream becomes one. fine thoughts dear poetess.. Once that slug finds a dream place to live, it gets more predators and ultimately that dreamy life is very short. thank u dear poetess. tony

I like the analogy in this write about the perfect life and how many sought after it only to be disappointed when they feel they have acquired it, I agree with Bri's comments, most look for the perfect life, but most are disappointed. If they do find the perfect life, they'll have to watch out for the predators So is it really perfect? Good write and thank you for sharing! Keep writing xo

The poem is ok, but i like the Poet's Notes more. i do NOT think " most of us" dream of living a perfect life, but those who DO will surely....'mostly'...be disappointed. : ( when a slug finds a " dream place to live" .....I, BRI, become one of its predators! they are better than hamburgers with ketchup/catsup, and almost as good as chocolate cake! ! Almost. bri :)

What's not perfect about a bird getting a great meal and then pooping in the veggie garden and laying eggs in a nest in a tree close by? All phases perhaps are perfect? Keep writing, it's pure namaste
