Shoe Shine Poem by Lamar Cole

Shoe Shine

I remember the see your face shoe shine.
And how the shoeshine boy was always right on time.
Popping his shoeshine rag in the summer heat.
Shoeshine perfection not missing a single beat.
Nothing could be better.
Than the sparkle that he brought to that leather.
