Whence I came, whither I go, I don't know;
usher me to a place from where I'll shine.
The strong becomes stronger as the life doth show.
If we help the weak, flee the trap, it is fine.
Give me strength dear and make me run and run
till I unto the peak of glory come.
To see you smiling in my mind, it is fun.
And at times your shocking words make me numb.
I am a common man struggling in folly.
Come and lighten up my mind good words to speak.
The books of fancy writers make me jolly
and in shaping my mind play the roleswho're meek.
Embolden me to stand against the evil might
and bring to light the hidden poor from the sight.
