Shock Poem by Jra Gra

Shock

Shock.
The sky tore asunder
The mighty oak
crashed down
The waters raged
across the land
The lightning
forked and threatened.

Volcanoes vented
and spewed forth
Earthquakes
tumbled buildings
Landslides crashed
and crushed
Avalanches thundered
silently down.
Trapped, crushed, blasted
Drowned, smashed, crumpled
Torn, ripped, cut, shredded
Mashed, whipped, flayed alive.

It happens
It's happening
In my stomach
Right now.
