I dream of the night
as a present from the light
because in darkness
I feel sublime at midnight's bedtime
I hear mermaids sing
from a faraway green spring
both softly and tender
as I swim serene deep and submarine
I see angels fly
in their orphanage of sky
as only the lonely
earn what they feign from wings made of pain
I dance in a toy room
where the broken toys all bloom
because together
our broken hearts are tied in one part
I live inside songs
where theirs no right or wrong
with a turn of a key
I see into worlds where death is not heard
some-days I fall
and some days I crack
but I wont cave
and some-days I break
and some-days I rage
but I wont waive
when the worlds cold
and faces are dark
Ill have to climb out
nothing is sure
and nothings forever
keep looking for light
in the never
always go on
when things all go wrong
cause the good and bad
dont last forever
