She's Sorry One Day Poem by Randy McClave

She's Sorry One Day

I will say that I am sorry one day I will
And then I was ask for your forgiveness still,
Forgive me for the lies and my sins I will ask
While seeking absolution will be my only task.
I know that I have told you many lies
Because, of my actions tears flowed from your eyes,
And I know that every oath to you that I ever spoke
And every promise that I gave to you, I broke.
I know the months has turned into many years
I cannot imagine your countless tears,
And all the pain and suffering in you that others did see
I know that it all was caused my me.
I had used you and also talked behind your back
Respect for you in my soul did lack,
But, the excuses that I give you is how I was raised
And how for my many sins I was loved and praised.
I was taught to love those who always abused
And to love the ones who hurt me when I was tired and bruised,
And then when a man treated me kind and good
I was perplexed and wondering why he should.

She wrote that short story in her diary
As though as if she was answering an inquiry,
Or maybe she was just speaking to her soul
To replace the honor and pride and the dignity that she stole.
One day of course like all she will meet God
And of course he will judge her with just a nod,
But, then when that day comes it will be to late
Destiny and actions will had sealed her fate.
