Sheep's Clothing Poem by douglas lewis

Sheep's Clothing

How would I know
That the sun
Which flowed
From your eyes
Had brittled your heart.
Sere like a desert.
Lacking tears.
Lacking love.
That your bright red dress
Was the devil's skin.
