A very impressive description of a bud who was forcibly plucked, abused and was crushed by the human like beasts, Neela has painted this picture in a manner that praise with my heart and soul.If it would be possible I would have rated this poem as 100 out of 10.

Poignant indeed. She wanted to be the river......in river her ashes dd get submerged.....but why a teenage or any other suffer this fate....what has our society come to! .....sometimes I feel ashamed of being a male.

Buds destroyed before they blossom, rivers blocked in their course without allowing them to run into the ocean! Such unfortunate incidents are grievously repeated all over India... Nowhere else in the world, a young girl is left so helpless, so brutally violated! A moving write!

Thoughtful write Neela. Thanks for sharing with us the cruelty which an innocent girl of fifteen year suffered. There are many such cases going every now and then and will go on as long as beasts continues to live among us. Loved the way you presented this poem.
