She Walks Ink Rhythm Poem by Sudipta Bhattacharyya

She Walks Ink Rhythm

She walks in rhythm.

Strolling along the street,
The street that was loveless, cruel with
The cruelty of human beings:
The weight of the world is love yet
Under the burden of sorrows and pathos!
Nobody cares, nobody loves,
I was the most awkward person
Among the most mundane people of that
Street in which busy men and women
Almost running towards nothingness.

All of a sudden, a divine scent was
Lingering in the air......
I caught the glimpse of a maiden dressed
In crimsoned colour attire !
Beads of sweat were popping down
Her rosy cheeks, she walks in perfect
Rhythm,My saddened heart lifts in joy!
Beauty, O Beauty! Your presence I feel
Still now among the cruel people ! !
