The account of this narrative poem is interesting and heart-wrenching. Perhaps you didn't report your 'father' and his 'habits' because you loved him and didn't want to see him punished - but at the same time, you didn't know how to get him the help he needed. And, as a child, 'fear' crowded your mind. However your 'love' for your 'brother' was even 'greater.' The threat to your brother gave you the courage and strength to do what you had to do. Despite the hardships, In the end, you have a loving home and surrogate family, which is wonderful. But the most important thing is that you still love your biological parents. A beautiful and inspiring story. Life is filled with bruises, hard knocks, and really 'rugged roads.' And though you've faced a lot of pain, if you keep the 'will' and 'desire, ' along with 'faith in God' - you can make it in this life. Best wishes. 10+++
