Beautiful! In your previous poem, you just wanted a word; and now you are asking for a smile. Aren't you a little greedy, poet? Fantastic description. You have selected the images well for both poems. (10)
Marvelous poem, drawing a beautiful and touching picture of the lady- of her strong character. Well done. She rests her eyes upon you softly Mindful of the world around her Do I see a flicker of the Great Kaalidasa in these lines? Pravata neelolpala nirrvisesham Adheera viprekshitam aayatakshya tayaa griheetam nu mrigaanaganabhyas- tato griheetam nu mriganganabhi. (Kumara Sambhavan- describing Uma's attaining adolescence) . (Her quick glances caused her eyes to move like a blue lotus flower in a slow breeze. Wonder, whether she 'borrowed' it from the female deer or the the deer borrowed it from her!) Great work. Loved reading.10.
Thank you for sharing the lines of the Great Kaalidasa. Such a big world full of knowledge yet to be revealed. A blue lotus flower in a slow breeze.............yes indeed. Wonderful velvet vision. The lotus and the lady transcend earthly attempts to capture their essence.
