She never cried!

Her eyes were red
Her face was swollen
She didn't touch the food
When asked she told that she's in prayer
I asked if she's crying
She smiled the ever sweet smile and asked me Why

Tears were rolling down as she's talking
Her voice cracked up at times
When asked she told that it's the infection
I asked if she's sad
She told that she's relieved now

She's looking at the mobile phone and making a grave effort to laugh at the pranks her husband is showing
This time I didn't feel like asking my next question
Are you scared?
No she's not scared she's a warrior. She will fight against all the odds

She has all the reason to blame everyone and give up
But that's for ordinary people
She's extraordinary
Tears might flood but she won't cry
Sky might fall down but she won't move
Come what may she won't give up

Yes! ! She never cried! ! !
