She Looks Into Me

She looks into my heart
Unknowing heart her heavy heart
To love and to cherish and hold.

She asks me if I could still love?
Having three drinks and tired
From the night before.
Are we there yet she asks?

Her head in my lap, asking the driver
To circle the block once more.
