I agree with Kevin, this poem needs to be read carefully to fully gleam the meaning. A memory of a loved one imparts a nostalgic recollection of things past but never forgotten.
This needs to be read multiple times in order to digest every word, but it is pretty haunting, and deeply personal, for me I think of everyone I have lost to death, who are gone but whose memories live on and seem to always return. I wont look at seeds again without thinking of someone lost.
