She Bought More Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

She Bought More

Rating: 3.5

Did you see her
Sent to the market
To buy a naira "WAZOBIA"
She came back with a wrap
Worth a million

I suspect her
That she did dip
Into her secret reserves
To supplement the buy
And give us a history

We said leap
The eagle flew
Landed where other wished to
But could not

I saw her with a treasure wrap
She was sent to the market
And bought a gold more than the worth
To give us a history
That abolished a jinx
