How woman is tortured and her oppose is neglected to listen by the men or by the society has been astutely and incisively delineated in this poem. Often she becomes victim of rape and murder. She keeps silent and she has nothing to do. As you have written.... Yet she is silent / Mute like a dumb animal / But Lo! There lies an ember...A super hit poem.10
A great poem, greatest than greatest I have read on this topic, in English, Thanks for sharing.
Excellent poem on the truth of degrading lives of many women in India...the wind is changing and it will happen it is a pity that man was not born from a female rib then he would get the well deserve beating funny I wrote an Haiku like this...regards
Everyone and Every woman will be a mother. She provides us a shelter but we betrayed humanity without think what lack in our life in real..She can be your mother, sister, friends and anyone who means a lot to you...She is the woman and woman need to stand strong and kill all the violence..time for world stand and fight for what we should..if humanity is still alive in our hearts_Soul
a lovely story of a the Goddess of our motherly earth..... be loved for ever...... this poem really touching my heart..... be blessed for care for ever love Bought at the highest bid. A toy to play with A curio wrapped in folds To be disrobed before feasting eyes And torn apart by man's beastly lust A chattel to be pawned and pledged. A chalice to be cast away When emptied of its contents.
So many heartless, rurhless deeds are being performed around our world, I admire your write Valsa, She,
YOUR POEM IS AMAZING ! The mind of the - She- is vivisected and the true portrayal of her condition rents the heart. The incident in Delhi an the eve of the New Year is atrocious. And many more such incidents are following these days.I fully endorse V.S.'s views..
Dear Valsa thank you for taking the step to write these sad words. How wrong this treatment of woman. And this is the 21St century.
As I said earlier one of most inspirational poets. I visit to learn and never go empty hand. I loved the way you produce this piece out of no where. You have a human heart and the message of the poem is grand. As Thomas A Robinson Sir said A bitter cup of tea to drink Your poem is really like that. A sad theme but the full of poetic qualities and very nice. Great Work
The lines go categorically entwining the myth and the disaster of womanhood. As there is no hope for PLUCKING and THROWING AWAY the FRUITS of CIVILIZATION we are fed on, the laws and the rules will continue to entertain the culprits and these human beasts. As soon as a couple of male children are born somewhere soon, I am afraid the fate of a hapless female child will be drafted by them... What remains is calling for A MACHINE to rule us.
Dear Mr.Sanjay, as you have rightly said, everything rests on power and as the rule of the jungle puts, 'might is right '! ! This is the sad state of affairs! But the prediction at the end is not a fictitious fantasy! There has to be a back lash! Ofcourse, you cannot enjoy the poem as it is not meant for enjoyment!
M'aam when we look around us we find that all are concerned, concerned about the atrocities being committed and million voices are there to protest. This is the only hope, but when the society is driven by power, the rule of the jungle prevails, and you will agree that in our country it is the power that is driving our society where the rules, values, ethics are given a cold shoulder. Your prognosis in the last four lines I pray remains confined in the reams of literature. Can't even say that I enjoyed the poem.
I READ THE POEM, , BETWEEN THE LINES, , MAY NEW YEAR BRING NEW RAYS OF HOPE, , THIS IS ALL I CAN WISH, , , THANX
it’s a proactive writing for woman and a lesson writing for those who think we're civilized people still/// like it
