A beautiful and poignant poem Andrew! You've captured it gracefully in your penning! ! Best regards Friend Thad
This poem is about a large building in the centre of Walsall called Shannon's Mill. It was part of the town's heritage. Here they once made high quality men's clothing. The building dominated the town's skyline since it was built in 1887. It was sadly burnt down by arsonists on August 3rd 2007. It was said to have been the largest fire in the Midlands for over 25 years and a very sad day for us all.
Fantastic rendition of such an awful happening Andrew. I could smell the smoke and feel the heat from this write. Well done indeed. Excellent piece of work. Love and hugs Ernestine XXX
