In secret halls of family ties
A monster lurked, with hidden eyes
Uncle Jide, a name that brings despair
A shadow that haunted her with care.
An orphan's trust he did betray,
A fragile soul, in his cruel sway
He stole innocence, with violent might,
Leaving scars that would last through the night.
With every touch, a piece of her died
Her voice silenced, her heart divide
The pain, a constant gnawing guest
A burden she bore, in secret unrest.
A childhood lost in dark despair,
A life of fear with no one to care,
Her cries, muffled, her tears unseen,
As Uncle Jide's evil deeds were screened
But still she rises, brave and strong,
Her spirit unbroken, though worn
She speaks her truths, and let it be known
That Uncle Jide's shame will not be her own.
