A brilliant poem well written embellished with superb imagery and beautiful and strong verses putting the reader into the shoes of the author, feel what she feels and be with her thoughts. Another write that stirs the senses
Sometimes when we are enveloped by sadness and we are at our lowest lows, we usually ask this powerful question, Shall I Rise? " A powerful, wonderful and thought provoking poem that presents the intriguing nature of human beings. That we are endowed with capabilities to assess the situation and put into action whatever our mind set us to do.

Part 2 I often go through such a melancholy mood. So I think I am able to empathise with the poet easily. Poetry is, normally, my sole solace in these situations. I believe it is the same for you too. A 100 for this wonderful write, though that, nor my words is adequate to express my feelings.
Nosheen is at her best in her poems of gloom and sadness. This one captures the expressions of a pensive heart, with fierce intensity. A heart affected by the profound darkness that ... “thickens Into an impenetrable silence”. Shelley wrote, “my heart aches....” Contd.....
