To the moon and stars that shine so bright
The rays fall down upon a lovely sight.
Not golden rays, but rays of dark light
I advance not knowing who she is, why does this feel right?
Her figure is dimmed, no light in this place
My hearts racing at a rapid pace.
I lean in trying to grab her hand; it dissolves, its only mist.
She smiles at me; I sigh and clench a fist.
How can she be so calm, when I can't even hold her?
My eyes start to water, her figure starts to blur.
She beams at me; her hand comes to my face
I feel the warmth, I'm ready to embrace.
I kiss her lips, her body starts to shiver
I glance at her; she's as cold as a river.
I pull her close and hug her saying 'I'll love you forever.'
Her figure darkens, it moves away, it's an illusion, she starts to shimmer.
