Shadow, Forbidden To Speak Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

Shadow, Forbidden To Speak

Shadow, Forbidden To Speak
Peace resulted from
Terrible dead silence
Created an atmosphere
That inhibited a heart
To listen its own beats.
My own shadow is forbidden
To speak with myself.
The power gained through
Point of guns and bombs
Imprisoned voice of my shadow.
The painful scream of my shadow
Not audible to even me.
