For some reason, the graphic portrayals you display in this poem work perfectly, in morbid harmony. Bravo!

I think is a perfect poetical match to the poem of Nivedita. These are not only the poems of different taste and perception but also very relevant in the contemporary scenario. Thanks for daring and sharing.

Great poem, a very good flow with great message. Without love souls become so godless they never do the right thing.

I received, at least, Nivedita's comment. From: Nivedita [poet Under Threat Of Editorial Cannibalism ~ Why? ? ? ] Bagchi Spc Uk (UK United Kingdom; Female; 30) To: Marieta Maglas Date Time: 6/1/2012 4: 06: 00 PM (GMT -6: 00) Subject: Re: hello Dear Mari Comment on your poem 'Artificial Things' Its wonderful poem and I appreciate the boldness you've shown and UN-masked the civilization Sex is 'Musk' [from male musk deer] a perfume what women love much But when becomes masked...oh! ! bejesus! ! ! ...let it never happen to any woman You've hit very hard the necrophilia [it is used as metaphor] to describe Mal-Handle and Man-Handel of sex Now the slogans of day ‘SAY NEVER NO TO SEX’ by any menace and every menace Dangerous situation we women in [in US every 2-3 minutes there is RAPE...can you imagine? ? ? ] When it'll end? PH banned my poem I Want To Be Raped unfortunately for them and fortunately for us it was lifted I think we must trounce poetically or by biblio or by cinema or by talk show or by drama or by road show etc etc [like Occupy Wall Street or Slut Walk (as symbol) etc etc] to polish off [Finish a task completely] the ancient menace I'm honored for your kindness of dedication such a great poem in fact I'm a wee poet Must be 10++ ~ Regards ~ niv +++ May I request to comment on Memo To Missy...if please n PS Unfortunately I'm constrained from posting my comments under any given poem in spite of repeated effort...may be as a poem I'm distaste to PH you'll find many comments of my poem Mom By Default Rape [was banned next was lifted] and my reader AB of London helping me to post my In Box posts what come as comment...I'm smothered by such actions n

Stunning. It is true that these people have a problem with their brains - they do not actually love, as you say it is all artificial.

For hundreds of years women have been raped and abused by males that were and still are protected by the maximum authorities of every land on Earth! The best we can do so far is to increase the awareness about this great problem affecting humanity. This well crafted write clearly echoes your concern and support for our great poetess Nivedita Bagchi. Thank you for sharing and keep it up! 10+++ God Bless you and every woman on Earth!

I like it. It's a good poem, and like poems of its kind, there isn't much to say about it but to relish the fact that it exists.

I read Nivedita's poem I WANT TO BE RAPED it was so thought provoking, and she managed to expose this disgust conduct, and now that I read this write, I feel so touched by the reflection that you display too, just to tell the world of the evil behavoir that humans pose to each other, especially the raping of young girls and women, you the best!
