You think sex can fix it
The heart made of glass
You think words can kiss
The wounds that you have caused.
You cannot take my love so easy,
I am not casual,
It is just that you are too busy.
You have a decided day to love me,
The next day you act like nothing has hurt me
You need to learn the truth,
Thatnothing looks cool.
That even if I am in love, this new face looks very ugly on you,
I am looking in our old songs to find this man very new.
Where has the love gone?
I havebecome a stone.
Where has my honey, sunshine gone?
You think gifts can make me happy,
The temporary moment of lie.
You think sleeping on my lappy,
Makes me so strucked and completely die.
You cannot take my love so free,
I am not casual.
It is just that you dont hve time to even see.
Unrequited love poses big challenges in life, because we tend to invest almost everything we can muster, in relationships. Nothing can fix it, but for unconditional return of love. Profound poem, Ms Kaur.
'You cannot take my love so free, I am not casual. It is just that you dont hve time to even see' - a difficult situation, it seems.
Write comment. Such a nice, thoughtful and beautiful poem, Randhir. Read my poem, Love and Iust. Thanks
Very very meaningful and accurate observation. The poem is a study in human behaviour and inter-personal relationships especially between a man and his wife. Men have a general tendency to take things for granted in our society and are driven by their ego.
This poem has not been translated into any other language yet.
I would like to translate this poem
A profound poem, rightly depicted the human nature.
