Severance Poem by SYAM CHANDRAN PERINKULAM

Severance

Rating: 5.0

Poignantly I Was passionate
To your Tresses.
They Shackled My Heart.
Your Tender Tears,
By Which My Lips Were Soaked
Prisoned Me.
Your Smiles,
Like Street Whores Balmed Me.
Thoughts Of Your Absence,
Like A Fierce Porcupine
Trembled me.
But When I Lost You Forever
I Am Banished From Eternity

It's amazing that our tie to eternity can come through a transient vessel, but that's the truth of it.
