Seventy Splendidly! Poem by Noor Othman

Thank you God for being kind to me,
Alhamdullilah, I have reached a ripe age of 70!
I cant thank you enough with this longevity,
Some of my friends have departed world-tenancy.

Living thus far have enriched my life experiences,
Some are memorable and some are variances,
I learnt to stay calm in many instances,
even when provoked, my emotions remain harmless.

I guess that could be the reason of this longevity,
By not allowing self from succmbing to bully!

I penned this in preparation for upcoming reunion of classmates who will be mostly 70 years old in 2025.
