PERSEVERANCE ALWAYS PAYS!

Perseverance landed, feather-like, on Mars
a breakthrough, among toughest by far
seven minutes of sheer terror*, close to Mars.
the moment of truth, that can make or mar;
remember, when Vikram broke, our hearts broke;
while all seemed perfect, down to the short strokes;
The Red Planet, on every man's bucket-list;
to land and explore, is pipedream in gist;
Perseverance to probe, signs of past life;
it has all gadgets, for the task, in brief;
The project chief, is India born;
Hall of Fame, Swati Mohan will now adorn!
