set me free? who does it? there are no reasons for many things under the sun...smiling at the fragility of life needn't have any reason...we willingly allow ourselves to be put into cages...don't we?

such a beautiful piece. very inspiring and well written! my favorite part was the last stanza. 'Set me free, let me fly/Not the wind, yet alive' absolutely lovely :)

It's a nice poem that bridges the gap between desires and realities of life, like your name, Anvita. Keep your desires and dreams alive and keep writing. Best Wishes. Naseer

it is a poem which is appreciated at two levels, , its overtone and undertone match.it celebrates the freedom, one at personal level and another at creative level.thanx
