Serenade By The Moonlit Dnieper

Serenade by the Moonlit Dnieper
By William He

Charred meadow sighs near the murmuring stream,
Airless hollows and voids untamed,
A phantom glides on argent threads.
The moon communes in hushed enchantment,
Its prism casts spells on emerald glass.
Through velvet corridors thick with mist,
Lunar fingers weave a slumbered charm,
An unseen vessel turns through starry seas,
Eldritch fire flickers on timeworn leaves.
The twilight brims with sacred wine,
The veiled one stirs behind the veil.

Mystic currents surge and whisper,
In twilight's blend of vine and flame.
Light twines with shadow's mirrored dance,
Each spectral shard returns to rest.
By the glowing Wellspring's edge,
Sage clouds brush Selene's face.
The celestial wheel spins ever inward,
With obsidian-light in shifting rings.
A hush of fate in quiet bloom,
As hues descend where dream-roots grow.
A hymn composed in silent shimmer,
Rocked by echoes barely born,
One foot in dreams, one foot in stars.
