Yes, I agree - assigning gender to whatever form God takes in reality is a misguided projection. In the Twin Cities a group of devout Lutheran women set up a conference on the feminine identity of the Godhead. They used such philosophical language carefully BUT a group of all male protesters refused to listen or reason and shut down the conference in three days. The injustice of it hurts me 20 years later and permanently wounded the sincere women of faith who set it up.

You have presented the relative philosophy quite beautifully. But the hardliners have their own logic. Thanks a lot for sharing.
