Self Talking Poem by Shakila Naz

Self Talking

Dear me,
My eyes are looking for you here and there
My heart wants to be loved and caressed by you
My hands die to be touched and held by you
i'm helpless and foiled, why your voice I can't hear?

Dear me,
We will meet for sure in some night
Full of peace and music and dreams,
Under the vast sky, near the shining streams,
And I'll sing the love songs for you in moonlight...

Dear me,
Never be afraid of the owls shrieking in wood
Tell them the stories of utmost joy,
And console your heart; that innocent boy,
Keep hoping everything will end up in good...
