I am glad that you have done your self-portrait and it is fantastic. Age, joy, hope or anxiety are well expressed. You are an apt poet as well as good artist. A beautiful poem is well executed. Thanks for sharing.
I am humbled and honoured by your kind words of support and appreciation for my poem and painting, Dear Kumarmani ji.
Cont/..In all admiration for your art and word art poetics as well. Best wishes.
Many many thanks for your good wishes and kind words of appreciation.
Wow sir Rajnish, great to know you not only know how to paint and depict with words but you have impressive drawing and painting talent too! ! Your artistic skill is marvellous, how you did a very realistic impressionist portrait and the fabulously crafted self poem too, your word choice superb! I can never draw anything or paint as excellently as you can and my own self portrait would look funny, and different ah. I replied to your comment by mail as well.
Ma'am zaynab, you have been really very generous in your review of the poem as well as your assessment of my painting. This is all very encouraging and inspiring. Thank you so much for the same.
Wow Rajnish ji! Too good! Never knew you could draw and paint! This comes as a revelation to me. Now i know why you respect art forms and artistes because you are a fine artiste too. So nice Rajnish ji For an excellent portrait which speaks for itself. :) .........10
This may look like a bit amateurish but I like to draw whenever I feel like. Yes, aesthetics is the common thread that binds all art forms together. Fortunate are those who are involved- directly or indirectly- in some or the other art form. Thanks for your kind words, Geeta ji.
Anxiety! ! ! ! Self-portrait. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Which a camera fails to pick......great poem. Thank u, dear poet. anjandev Roy
In case others don't know, as i did not: " noun plural noun [it can also be a verb! ]: cavils 1. an objection seen as petty or unnecessary." I admire the artwork, but NOT TOO closely, as not to have nightmares! ! i'd say the traces are more age & anxiety than joy and hope; does someone need a vacation! ? ? bri :)
Thanks for a closer (but NOT TOO closely) look at the text and the context. Regards.
Thank you, Dear Sir, for the support and for your generous words about me as a poet and painter,
You sound honest in your painting and in your writing...what more this poem needs to be applauded Rajnishji... full marks to this well deserved poem...thank you
Thank you, Indira Ma'am, for your kind words about this poem and the painting.
An striking self portrait, which shows more than any 'selfie' could. You look serious and pensive against the bright blue background. I wish I could paint like that.
Thanks for sharing your feelings about this drawing as well as about your desire to paint. Drg. & Painting was one of my subjects during graduation.
