Self, Myself & Me Poem by RACHEL ZARANTONELLO

Self, Myself & Me

Laugh like a lunatic
Why be boring? Or just plain?
The line is fine that borders madness
from being completely sane.
When you pass by & see me talking,
But no one else is nearby;
We are just having a meeting,
Self, Myself & I.
If crazy had upper levels
I'd go straight to the top.
As far as I could go,
The fun would never stop
I prefer the term 'visionary'
to 'have you lost your mind'?
My mind is not lost at all,
although sometimes it is an adventure to find
I do not always agree
with Myself, and Self you see
I tell Myself 'You are impossible'! !
But Self says the trouble is usually Me.
