Seeing The View. Poem by Safiyyah Manjra

Seeing The View.

Rating: 5.0

Being able,

To hear the crashing waves,
Sounds like the most soothing sound ever.

To be standing on the edge should feel reckless and daring.
Instead it feels very stable yet exciting.

The emotions we expect are of our made perception.
Little do we notice all the hidden interaction.

The plea for one's own freedom,
Lies with creating one's jail.

If freedom had not to be acquired,
It would mean one is already in the free state.

For such little things go unnoticed at life's rate.

A poem of strength with some great lines. To hear the crashing waves is so evocative and can write a thousand poems.++10
